Here at Wiregrass Homeschool Christian Academy, it’s fair priced monthly tuition for hands on learning with kind and patient teachers. Mrs. Christine and Mr. Mike are running something really great here, especially for those kids who struggle in regular public school classrooms.
Us students here at the Wiregrass Homeschool Christian Academy go to class for two hour intervals each day during the week, which eliminates all the distractions that a seven hour school day has to offer. We use those two hours to focus on our core classes, with the opportunity to stop and ask for help when needed without the distraction of a full classroom. I love the individualized instruction that helps us to retain information more effectively.

Wiregrass Homeschool Christian Academy offers a safer and more secure environment for children. In a traditional school setting, there are often always concerns about bullying, peer pressure, and violence. In comparison, homeschooling provides a much safer environment for mental and physical health. Here it’s an environment where children can learn and grow without the threat of physical and emotional trauma.
Being in a christian environment is important for students as well. Here the books include scripture from the bible, we have discussions about moments that intrigue us or even moments we’re confused about, we also watch educational films, and talk about personal experiences to relate to each other in the classroom on a personal level.

My name is Lucas Heurich, and I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to Mrs. Chris, who was my teacher before Wiregrass Homeschool. Mrs. Chris played a pivotal role during my middle school years, helping me navigate through challenges and instilling a sense of confidence in myself. She not only taught me valuable academic skills but also helped me recognize my own potential and the importance of putting my best effort into everything I do.
Currently, I am in my final year as a marketing student at Troy University. Alongside my studies, I hold the position of Head of Marketing at a highly successful company. Additionally, I've also ventured into entrepreneurship with my own company, which I founded.
Mrs. Chris's approach to teaching went beyond conventional methods; she understood that every student learns differently and at their own pace. Her dedication to her students' individual needs was truly impactful, and I firmly believe that I wouldn't have achieved my current successes without her guidance.
